Your piece of jewellery has been handcrafted, individually cast and polished therefore each piece will have slight variations which we believe adds to their unique beauty.

Sterling Silver - Please feel comfortable wearing your sterling silver piece everyday as the more you wear the less care is required. If you choose not to wear your piece daily, store in a cool, dark and airtight place. Please be aware that some peoples skin is more acidic than others creating a tendency to tarnish. To prevent this from happening clean your jewellery periodically through gently using warm water and a mild, gentle soap, or a jewellery polishing cloth that is suitable for sterling silver.

Solid Gold - Please feel comfortable wearing your solid gold piece everyday, however be aware that solid gold is a soft metal therefore has a tendency to scratch easily.  If you choose not to wear your piece daily, store in a cool, dark and airtight place. Please be aware that some peoples skin is more acidic than others creating a tendency to tarnish. To prevent this from happening clean your jewellery periodically through gently using warm water and a mild, gentle soap, or a jewellery polishing cloth that is suitable for solid gold.

Brass - It is recommended to remove brass jewellery when it may get wet, such as showering, swimming or cleaning. Please be aware that some peoples skin is more acidic than others creating a tendency to tarnish so please take this into consideration and use your supplied cleaning cloth to brighten its beautiful lustre. Do not be alarmed if your skin may turn green when wearing brass - this is due to the acidity in your skin and will easily wash off (this does not happen to all people). When you are not wearing your jewellery make sure you store in a cool, dark and airtight place.

Please be careful with your chosen piece. Jewellery can be fragile. Tiny links and ear post can bend or break if not looked after carefully. Please be mindful of this when you put on and take off your jewellery. Remember - jewellery should be the last to put on, and the first to remove. Please remove your jewellery before bed as sleeping positions can bend charms, necklaces and their tiny links into odd positions.

At HALI MOTIF all our packaging is biodegradable. Due to this we recommend to please not store your pieces in the boxes provided as they may have a tendency to cause tarnishing.
